We begin our Thanksgiving celebrations by dining together as a church family. The church provides drinks, and turkey, stuffing, and hopefully gravy. Our Annual Christmas Eve Service is on Sunday this year, beginning at 6:00. It is a great way to start our family Christmas celebrations. There is scripture, music, prayers, and a reflection. Join us.
Our Annual observance of the four weeks of Advent begins December 3 and continues for four weeks. If you want to participate in this year's readings a sign up sheet will be available Sunday, November 26.
The women of the church will be having their annual Christmas Party and monthly Draw Me Close gathering on December 14 and 6:30. Bring an ornament to exchange and your favorite Christmas dessert.

Once again SCC gathers to spend a half day of Prayer to the Maker. We spread out around the church for 3 hours praying individually and then gather together to share insights on our prayer journey. Join us on Nov 4 beginning at 9:00 AM.
It is time for our annual congregational Meeting. Members of the church are encouraged to stay after church and hear the report and budget that will be presented. There will also be confirmation of a trustee and perhaps an elder or two.
Our youth group is hosting a fund raising dinner before Valentine's Day. This is not a sweetheart or Valentine dinner, but a dinner for everyone around Valentine's Day. All proceeds go to Mexico Youth Mission Trip.
